our Irish sea moss gel is handcrafted from authentic, wild-harvested whole leaf Chondrus crispus sustainably-sourced from the cold waters off the Atlantic Coast.

it’s beautiful purple fronds grow on rock formations under the sea that once harvested are then naturally sun-dried.

in preparation for your gel, we begin by re-hydrating and thoroughly cleaning the sea moss. next, it is left to soak overnight [or for a minimum of 6 hours] in alkaline water enhanced with key lime and organic ceylon cinnamon sticks.

after being soaked, the chondrus crispus is rinsed one last time before being blended into gel form.

irish sea moss is a super-food that nourishes on a cellular level as it provides for a whopping 92 minerals.

care instructions:

*refrigerate immediately upon receipt and before opening as this allows for it to return to a cool, gelled state. doing so will also lessen chances of contents seeping out as a result of shipping and/or higher temperatures.

*can be transferred to plastic pouches or ice cube trays to be frozen for months.
